We are looking for a Software Engineer II to maintain and build upon the existing solutions innovate forward-thinking applications for our product. You will be responsible for defining user experience workflows based on product vision and building responsive, device agnostic web components to support our custom applications. As a Tier II Software Engineer, you will be working on moderately complex tasks, and introduced to developing the basic level of system design.   

What You’ll Do 

  • Work closely with other Mortgage365 engineers, product team, and customers to ensure deep understanding of their needs to create applications and interfaces that anticipate and solve moderately complex problems faced by users of the platform  
  • Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and apply best practices for end-to-end delivery  
  • Assist other engineers in their captured requirements to design and execute features in smaller sized projects  
  • Assist with the architect, design and build back-end web applications and components to support new and existing product initiatives  
  • Test software development methodology in an agile environment.  
  • Manage and prioritize daily work according to sprint backlog with significant ability to self-organize 
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing platform and recommendations for improvement  
  • Assist in solving technical problems in the platform with wide scope  
  • Deliver solutions for other engineers, allowing them to focus on experimentation, evolution, and high quality features   

Your Background 

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent experience 
  • 1-2 years in Software Engineering work experience, including at least 3-years total technical software engineering experience 
  • 1-2 years experience web and API architecture, including XML, JSON, Angular, C#, .NET, MVC, WebAPI, EntityFramework and modern real-time application-based services design 
  • Large scale systems design and programming in an academic or commercial setting  
  • Preferably some experience using SOLID or similar software design patterns  
  • Experience adding new features and resolving bugs in large, heavily used API projects  
  • Experience adding new features and resolving bugs in large, heavily used API projects 
  • Understanding of device agnostic, responsive development, and design 
  • Some/minimal experience managing code sets within Visual Studio or similar IDE, and Source a Control Systems such as Azure DevOps along with use of Git 
  • Some experience consuming diverse APIs for multiple system integration patterns  
  • Working knowledge of enterprise integration and third-party enterprise integration tools 
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Excellent problem solving skills  

Compensation & Benefits 

The target annual salary for this role performed in the US is $120,000-$130,000. The exact compensation will be determined by the skill and experience of qualified candidates, and can change at anytime based on local hiring market conditions.
